Accounting

Nurayn’s Accounting committee will be responsible for budgeting Qabeelat funds.

Audio & Visual

Nurayn’s Audio and Visual Team is responsible for setting up all A/V equipment prior to the start of the seminar. They are responsible for setting up the Mommy-Cam Room. During the seminar they are needed to monitor lecture audio and video connections for the Mommy-Cam Room. After the seminar the A/V team is responsible for cleaning up all equipment.

EmanRush

EmanRush is responsible for requesting products from EmanRush HQ at least 2 weeks in advance and creating a pre-seminar inventory once audio arrives. During the seminar they will be at the EmanRush table collecting money from each sale and marking down which products were sold. After the seminar they will create a post-seminar inventory.

Exams

Nurayn’s Exam committee is responsible for scheduling online and on-site study sessions. They are also responsible for showing the online exam demo during on the 1st Saturday of the class.

Hospitality & Student Services

Nurayn Student Services is responsible for ensuring a location for on-site babysitting. They will work with the babysitting coordinator to find responsible babysitters. Student Services is responsible for bringing snacks for students to purchase. Student Services will also coordinate on-site lunches for purchase through restaurant catering. They will also be in contact with all new students and those who are coming from out of town and ensure they are given Nurayn Hospitality. The master notes committee is also to report to Student Services.

Logistics

Nurayn Logistics is responsible for reserving all venues for AlMaghrib classes in Maryland or Virginia. They will also ensure all regulations, regarding food, parking, capacity, etc. are known by volunteers and Uma’ra. Logistics will also be in contact with the teacher facilitator to ensure the instructor is in class on time and has all required materials for class. The decoration committee will also report to Logistics.

Marketing

Nurayn’s Marketing Committee is responsible for advertising for the upcoming seminar through various means including fliers, posters, weekly e-newsletters and online social media networks. They are also responsible for updating www.nurayn.com. Nurayn Marketing will also work with Nurayn’s Umara to schedule local promo events and online Ilminars.

Projects

Nurayn Projects is responsible for heading social service projects and social events both in class and out of class. Nurayn Projects is comprised of a team of volunteers who brainstorm, coordinate, promote, and implement in-class service projects.

Registration

Two supervisors will coordinate Nurayn Registration during the class. Registration volunteers are responsible for registering students, signing them in, collecting payments, handing out books and wristbands after people register, making sure people are signing in as they register.

Scholarships

Nurayn Scholarships is responsible for receiving and responding to scholarship applications. They will also work with accounting to budget, fundraise and handle all sponsorships.

Secretary

Take minutes from general meetings and volunteer meetings, write down action items and make them available by getting it to volunteers coordinator or putting it where all other volunteers can see it, such as by emailing/posting on the google-group.

Quality Assurance

Nurayn’s QA team will determine if the services offered by Qabeelat Nurayn are meeting specified requirements, determine and document any areas that may need improvement, evaluate committee heads, and provide overall assessment of productivity in individual committees and the Qabeelat as a whole.
