Ameerah’s Closing Thoughts about The Last Breath

Salaam alaykum,

Jazakum’Allahu khayran to everyone who helped make this seminar a success!!!

Masha’Allah tabarak’Allah, I really enjoyed and benefitted from this seminar for so many reasons which are not necessarily visible. Please remember Sh. Waleed in your dua for sharing this beautiful knowledge and experience with us these past two weekends. Also, he mentioned that if you’d really like to thank him in addition to dua to remember to fill out the seminar feedback survey: https://surveyconsole.com/t/AY9vZC7rU

Alhamdulillah, the students of Qabeelat Nurayn put this ilm we learned into practice right away in a very practical manner by donating over $1900 to retire the debt of our brother who passed away last week. Insha’Allah, the rest of the funds will be forwarded to his wife and children in Saudi Arabia.

Jazakum’Allahu khayran to all of the volunteers and students without whom, after the tawfiq of Allah, we would not have been able to pull off this seminar. I could name names of those who came early, stayed late, helped plan before the seminar, set-up, cleaned up, sold lunches, worked registration, and helped out in the myriad of ways necessary for each seminar but I don’t want to make anyone feel shy or to overlook the contributions of others as you already know who you are :) May Allah azza wa jal make it heavy in the balance for you on the day when we will be in most need of any good we did in this life purely for the sake of Allah.

Jazakum’Allahu khayran to Nurayn’s Ameer and Ameerah, Tariq and Saimah for all of their efforts. It has been my distinct pleasure to work with both of them. They are dedicated, humble, reliable, and work very hard to help see through each of our projects as a qabeelah. May Allah, the Most Merciful, accept your efforts and make it a continual source of benefit for you in this life and the next. Ameen. Arif, welcome, may Allah azza wa jal help us to to fulfill this task.

It really is a blessing that through working with AlMaghrib and Qabeelat Nurayn we are able to meet other likeminded Muslims seeking to learn about their faith, deepen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, and put our faith into practice by sharing what we’ve learned and in volunteering for this deen.

On behalf of Qabeelat Nurayn, we do sincerely apologize for any and all of our shortcomings, from the parking mis-information on the Free Friday to the technical and logistic issues and difficulties with Parent Cam to not responding quickly enough to the needs or inquiries of the students and volunteers and other issues that may have come up during the seminar. Please forgive us,  make dua for us to improve, and know that we do genuinely appreciate your feedback and are already working to make our upcoming Darkness to Light: Aqeedah 4 seminar and future endeavors an even greater success.

Jazakum’Allahu khayran,

Ify
